a. The competition is open to all South African residents in possession of a valid South African identity document.
b. Participants must be 18 years or older.
c. Employees of Empangeni Mall, employees of stores within the Mall, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
d. Contractors, service providers, and any individuals directly involved in the administration of the competition are also excluded from entering.
a. To enter, participants must spend a minimum of R250 at any store within Empangeni Mall between 01 March 2026 and 16 December 2026.
b. Entries must be submitted during the competition period.
c. Participants may enter by either:
Dropping their original till slip into one of the official competition entry boxes located within the Mall. The participant’s name, surname, and contact details must be clearly written on the back of the slip; or
Scanning the official competition QR code and completing the online entry form.
a. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, or contain inaccurate information will be disqualified.
b. Participants must provide valid and contactable information for notification purposes.
c. Duplicate entries based on the same transaction will be disqualified.
d. Each till slip is valid for one entry only, regardless of whether the total spend exceeds the R250 minimum.
a. Monthly prize winners will be selected via a random draw conducted by Empangeni Mall or its designated representatives during the competition period.
b. A total of 20 finalists will be selected to qualify for the grand prize draw.
c. Finalists will be notified using the contact details provided and may have their names published on Empangeni Mall’s social media platforms.
d. If a selected finalist does not meet the eligibility criteria, an alternate finalist will be randomly selected.
e. Finalists will be required to provide a copy of their valid South African ID document for verification purposes.
f. All 20 finalists must attend the final draw event on 19 December 2026 at Empangeni Mall to qualify for the grand prize draw.
a. The grand prize is a brand-new Renault Kiger 1.0 Evolution.
b. Monthly prizes will be awarded throughout the competition period. All eligible entries submitted within the applicable period will qualify for that month’s draw.
c. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash or any other goods or services.
d. The winner will collect the vehicle on 7 January 2027 from the Renault dealership, subject to arrangements made with Empangeni Mall management. (Corrected year for logical sequence.)
e. The winner must allow Empangeni Mall a reasonable period to register and license the vehicle in their name and must provide all necessary documentation, including a valid South African ID, valid driver’s licence, and proof of residence.
f. The prize does not include vehicle insurance. The winner is responsible for arranging insurance prior to collection.
g. The winner must collect the vehicle within 7 days of notification, failing which the prize may be forfeited.
a. By entering the competition, participants grant Empangeni Mall the right to use their name, image, and related details for promotional and marketing purposes in print, digital, and social media without additional compensation.
b. The names of finalists and the winner may be published on Empangeni Mall’s social media platforms and announced at promotional events.
a. Empangeni Mall reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the competition at any time, for any reason, without prior notice.
b. Empangeni Mall shall not be responsible for lost, late, misdirected, or incomplete entries due to technical or any other issues.
c. The decisions of Empangeni Mall and its appointed competition representatives are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
d. By entering the competition, participants consent to receiving marketing communications from Empangeni Mall. Participants may opt out at any time.
a. Empangeni Mall, its employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the competition or acceptance of the prize.
b. Empangeni Mall will not be responsible for any defect, malfunction, or damage to the vehicle once it has been handed over to the winner.
c. Upon collection, the winner assumes full responsibility for the vehicle, including insurance, licensing, maintenance, and any associated costs.
d. By entering, participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Empangeni Mall, its employees, contractors, and agents from any claims arising from participation in the competition or receipt of the prize.
